Presenter Grant Lauchlan was joined in the Moviejuice studios for this week’s reviews by film critics Janice Forsyth and Graeme Virtue.

Grant started: “One film that might have you crying for all the wrong reasons is Wanderlust – seriously one of the worst films I’ve seen in a long time.”

Janice agreed, and said: “Seeing this in the same week as This Means War – both the cast and the stupid plotlines converged until I thought Jennifer Aniston was the other one, and Drew Barrymore was this...

“No, but I really want to see Jennifer Aniston in a good film, and it’s yet another turkey from her.

“I thought it was absolutely hateful. I hate to say that about two films this week, but I thought it was awful, and such an out-of-date cliché to go for the target of a commune, but 30 or 40 years too late. What’s going on?”

Graeme continued: “All the hippy stereotypes that were rolled out seemed very, very old-fashioned. It was all bongos and didgeridoos.

“Alan Alda, I quite like to see him, but he’s really lowering himself with the material.”

So, marks out of five. For Grant it got “not such a wander-ful one”. “Can I give it no stars?” enquired Janice. Grant was all too keen to tell her yes... For Graeme it was a real “didgeridon’t”, and he also gave it one.
