Jim Caviezel has joined the cast of 'The Tomb'.

The 43-year-old actor - who starred as Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson's 'The Passion of the Christ' - will appear alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in the movie, producer Mark Canton has confirmed.

He told 'The Matthew Aaron Show': "[Jim] Caviezel will be playing the role of the warden of the prison in which Schwarzenegger and Stallone attempt to escape from."

The prison drama movie will see Sylvester portray the role of structural security expert and prison designer Ray Bresli, who is faced with the proposition of escaping from a jail he's designed, with Arnold set to play a prisoner called Church who helps other inmates to stay alive while they are incarcerated.

Mark recently admitted he is "thrilled" with the prospect of both Sylvester and Arnold - who both underwent shoulder surgery at the same hospital earlier this month after working together on 'The Expendables 2' - starring in the movie.

He explained: "I am thrilled to be making 'The Tomb' with two film icons - Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is the perfect pairing for this high octane thriller."
