Film expert and Moviejuice host Grant Lauchlan has confessed that meeting Miss Piggy this week was a dream come true. The STV presenter revealed that he was dazzled by the perfect porker.
On this week’s Moviejuice (Friday 10 February), Grant cosies up with the legendary and flirtatious Miss P had her co-star Kermit, as they co-host a special edition of the show to celebrate their return to the big screen in their new movie The Muppets.
Miss Piggy took a particular shine to Moviejuice presenter Grant turning Kermit greener with envy, and the feeling was clearly mutual.
Grant said: "I've been lucky enough to interview some of the biggest stars on the planet, with many divas among them, but none come close to Miss Piggy not even JLo or Julia Roberts.
“Luckily she liked me; she really is a big flirt. I don't think Kermit was very happy about her ignoring him for me.
"The pair were a hoot to co-host with, and possibly the nicest stars I've had the pleasure of interviewing. I had to pinch myself when I found out I was getting the opportunity to present a TV show with two icons of my childhood, having watched them on Sundays on STV as a kid.
“They are legends and I'd say meeting and working with them was one of the highlights of my career."
Also on the programme, the trio will be hearing from Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe about his spooky new thriller Woman in Black.
Plus, they'll be taking a look at the latest cinema releases including Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams’ tearjerker romance The Vow, which hits cinema screens just in time for Valentine's Day.
