Moviejuice DVD and Blu-Ray roundup: with Midnight in Paris, One Day and Footloose

First up is Midnight in Paris, an Oscar nominated romantic comedy from director Woody Allen about a family travelling to the French capital for business.

The party includes a young engaged couple, played by Rachel McAdams and Owen Wilson, who are forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.

Also out is bittersweet love story One Day, starring Anne Hathaway and Adam Garcia, based on the hugely popular tearjerker novel by David Nicholls.

The film tells the story of Emma and Dexter, two Edinburgh University graduates whose lives take two different paths, but somewhere along the way they realise that what they have been looking for all along is each other.

And finally, it’s the teenage musical Footloose, a remake of the classic 1980s film.

City kid Ren McCormack moves to a small southern town where rock and roll and dancing have been banned, but the town is soon shaken up when Ren challenges the ban and falls in love with the minister’s troubled daughter Ariel.
