As Twilight mania grips the country, fans have been flocking to their nearest cinemas to get their fix of werewolves and vampires in new film Breaking Dawn.
In a Moviejuice Twilight: Breaking Dawn Special, airing on STV at 8pm tonight, Grant Lauchlan spoke to Taylor Lautner to find out what to expect from the latest instalment in the saga.
The hunky teenager revealed that this film is his favourite so far because it’s so different from the others. He said:
“It’s much more mature, the tone is very different. It starts off very magical and very beautiful but then it quickly goes downhill from there and becomes a different movie.”
One of the things Taylor found the hardest to get his head around was the imprinting thing from the books. Jacob imprints on Edward and Bella’s unborn baby, which happens when a werewolf falls in love with someone and becomes tied to them for life. Taylor explained:
“The number one thing I had to get out of my mind is it’s not a creepy thing, I’m not walking into a room and falling in love with a baby, and I think our director did an amazing job capturing that moment.”
With the final film instalment of the saga in post production, Taylor was sad to be saying goodbye to his character, but he can’t wait to hear what the fans think of the film. He said:
“I’m excited to see their faces when they walk out of the theatre because it’s going to leave them wanting more.”
Don’t miss Moviejuice Twilight: Breaking Dawn Special on stv.tv/entertainment after 9pm tonight for full interviews with Taylor, Bill Condon and Robert Pattinson.
