As Twilight fans across the globe head to their nearest cinema to sample the delights of Breaking Dawn, STV’s showbiz guru Grant Lauchlan has been chatting to the stars and director of the movie, Bill Condon.
In an STV Moviejuice Twilight: Breaking Dawn Special, which airs tonight at 8pm, Grant got the backstage gossip from Bill, including details of the final instalment in the saga, due for release next year.
Bill said he is currently editing the movie, but promised that it truly is a breathtaking end to the Twilight series.
He said: “The big thing about the second movie is it tells you about vampires across the world. It’s very cool. It’s epic.”
Taylor Lautner told Grant that emotions were running high on set when it came to the last day of filming.
The heartthrob said: “The last day of filming was tough for all of us. I mean cause one, we’re saying goodbye to each other in the filming sense because we have a lot of fun making these movies together and two, because we have to say goodbye to our characters which five movies in, we’re kind of attached to.”
You can find out more about Twilight and the stars, including what Robert Pattinson thought of Kristen Stewart in her wedding dress, when the show airs tonight on STV.
The full interviews with Bill Condon, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be available on stv.tv/entertainment after 9pm tonight.
