Robert Pattinson may have captured the heart of millions of Twihards around the globe, but it is his Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner who sends temperatures, and decibels, soaring in the cinema, every time he takes his top off.
In Breaking Dawn, which is released today (hurrah), fans get a glimpse of Taylor’s infamous six pack at the start of the movie, but it’s Rob, and indeed Kristen Stewart, who are baring the most flesh in this flick.
STV showbiz guru Grant Lauchlan caught up with R-Pattz ahead of the UK premiere on Wednesday, to ask him how he competes with Taylor’s abs and who would win in a real fight between the on-screen enemies.
Rob said: “Taylor knows all these karate moves and stuff but I don’t actually know if they would hurt.”
His tactic for beating the 19 year old in a brawl? “He’s quite a lot smaller than me; maybe I could just sit on him.” Hands up if you would like Robert Pattinson to sit on you? Moving on…
On the subject of body envy, Robert said: “Taylor, it’s such an unfair comparison. I mean Taylor is a natural athlete so I’m never going to win against him.”
You can find out what Taylor thought of Robert’s plans to sit on him and lots more when STV's Twilight: Breaking Dawn special is broadcast at 8pm tonight (Friday November 18).
Heading to the cinema to watch the movie? The show will be available on the STV Player later tonight, post transmission. Enjoy.
