Stars of The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing 2012 were among the celebrity guests at the glitzy royal world premiere of the much-hyped Bond movie Skyfall Royal Albert Hall last night.
Ella Henderson, Union J, Rylan Clark, Kye Sones and Jahmene Douglas were among those from X Factor who scrubbed up and put their glad rags on to walk the red carpet.
The Girls' category - accompanied by their judge Tulisa - dressed in glamorous black gowns, with Lucy Spraggan opting for a suit, while the boys looked handsome in tuxes.
The contestants couldn't hide their excitement, with several of them taking to Twitter to tell followers all about their night rubbing shoulders with the A-listers. Rylan Tweeted: “Completely unreal SKYFALL premier x”, while Jade Ellis posted a message that said: "Bond movie is SICK!!!!" George Shelley from Union J – who are being tipped to follow in the footsteps of chart-toppers One Direction also posted a photo of himself in the iconic Bond gun pose alongside fellow hopeful Kye.
Among those flying the flag for Strictly were Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton, actor Colin Salmon and judge Darcey Bussell, who impressed in similarly swanky attire.
They rubbed shoulders with the stars of the movie including baddie Javier Bardem who was accompanied by his stunning actress wife Penelope Cruz, James Bond star Daniel Craig, and Judi Dench who plays the no-nonsense role of M.
Daniel, who looked handsome and suave in a Tom Ford suit, said he was "incredibly proud" to return as the super spy for his third outing.
And Javier, who plays the part of Raoul Silva in Skyfall admitted he’s always loved the baddies in the 007 movies ever since being entranced by metal-toothed baddie Jaws in Moonraker.
The likes of pop stasr JLS, Scottish songstress Emeli Sande and new husband Adam Gouraguine, comedian David Walliams, former glamour model Katie Price and Holly Vallance and new husband Nick Candy were also in attendance at the celebrity-packed event.
Skyfall, the 23rd Bond movie, is released in cinemas this Friday and sees James’ loyalty to M truly tested as events from her past come back to haunt her.
STV's movie man Grant Lauchlan is taking a look at the movie in detail in the new series of Moviejuice this Friday at 8pm.
