Eye opener: Sarah says Sex was like Lawrence of Arabia.
Sarah Jessica Parker thinks Sex and the City 2 has the "cinematic scope" of Laurence of Arabia. The actress admits the second installment of the film - which also stars Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon - was an exciting movie to make because of the unusual scenery.
She said: "It has the cinematic scope of Laurence of Arabia. But it is a romp. It's a caper. It's a caper with heart. I never in a million years thought we would be in the dunes of the Sahara desert, shooting a movie, on camels, dressed in the most inappropriate clothes. In heels."
Discussing the chances of a third movie, which has been previously mentioned by Kim Cattrall - who plays sex-mad PR guru Samantha Jones in the comedy - Sarah Jessica admits it is a possibility if the second film is well-received.
She said: "We really have to wait until early June and see what their experience was and how they felt about this story. Then we'll all have a conversation and most importantly Michael Patrick will sit in a room by himself and think, 'Is there a story?'.
Sex and the City 2 is released in late May.
