Twilight actress Kristen Stewart admitted that the movie’s army of followers has allowed her to keep coming back to it. She said they’re giving her character Bella the chance to develop.
Kristen – who is dating co-star Robert Pattinson – told Parade: “I've never been so fanatical about something.
"I never had that thing that I'm obsessed with. But I've followed things for years, like bands and movies and actors.
"I completely get what they're feeling. Personally, it's just so cool for me to be able to go back and follow a character for so long in successive movies. The fact that fans love them helps give me the chance."
She went on to say that Bella is still on a journey and she’s not finished developing the character.
Meanwhile, her new film The Runaways is about to hit the big screen. It’s a biopic of rocker Joan Jett’s life in her early band.
Kristen is a huge fan of Joan and she told MTV: “She has such a distinct voice. She is on fire. She stares the audience down.
“I've never seen anything like it and you don't know you can do it until you do it for the first time."
But she admits she could never be a rock star, unlike her vampire co-stars Robert Pattinson and Jackson Rathbone.
She said: “It could never be fun for me to be a rock star 'cause I'm not one."
