Leonardo DiCaprio's next movie 'Inception' is "complicated".

The 35-year-old 'Shutter Island' actor believes his latest film venture, shot by director Christopher Nolan, will be a "treat" for cinema goers.

He told Empire Online: "It is complicated. It's a complicated story structure, but it's sprung from the great filmmaker Christopher Nolan's mind, but he's been able to take highly complex jigsaw puzzles in a narrative and put them together like we've never seen.

"Everyone's going to be in for a treat when they see it, including me.

"This is a plot-structure that's working on multiple layers simultaneously - and quite literally when I say simultaneously, I do mean multiple narratives simultaneously."

'Inception' is a mystery sci-fi told in a world where technology can enter the human mind while people are dreaming.

Also starring in the film alongside Leonardo DiCaprio are Marion Cotillard - who yesterday won the French Order of Arts and Letters - and Sir Michael Caine.

'Inception' is set to be released worldwide in July.
