Fanning flames: Kristen told not to grope co-star Dakota.
Kristen Stewart had to be careful not to "grope" Dakota Fanning. The 19-year-old actress, who plays rock star Joan Jett in the 1970s biopic, claims she had to be careful of her actions with her younger co-star, who she kisses in the movie.
She said: "She was 15, and I wasn't allowed to grope her.
"I'm actually not kidding, there are major restrictions that I don't remember from when I was younger."
However, she admits the kiss is not a big deal in the movie and says it's just something that happened to Joan and her bandmate Cherie Currie, who Dakota portrays.
She said: "I don't want to give anything way. It's a really passionate, hardcore scene. No, it's just a kiss. It's not really a big deal."
Kristen also admitted it was difficult having to portray a living person because there were so many habits to get right.
She explained: "You always feel the pressure. It's, like, if I don't get every little thing right I'm going to kill myself.
"And we have very different tics. We're both, like, ridden with tics, but they're a completely different set of them."
