Movie plan: Quentin has a to-do list of films.
Quentin Tarantino wants to make Kill Bill 3, a Western and a romantic comedy before he retires. The 46-year-old director - whose film Inglourious Basterds picked up an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Christopher Waltz - confirms he will retire at the ago of 60, but claims he wants to get a lot done before then.
He said: "At a certain point, there's a third Kill Bill movie. A prequel to Inglourious Basterds. And sooner or later. I'll make another gangster film."
Quentin, 46, also revealed plans to make some new films, including a romantic comedy that is done his way.
He said: "I would love to make a full-on, no bulls**t Western. I'd love to make a romantic comedy and take it out of the ghetto it's been exiled to.
"I have done love stories; they've just been in my other movies. True Romance's title was not ironic.
"Sure James Gandolfini almost beats Patricia Arquette to death and she has to blow him away with a shotgun but that doesn't mean it's not romantic. It just has to be done my way, and I think people want me to do it my way."
Discussing his retirement, he admitted he has an idea in mind of when he should stop working - but doesn't think he'll keep to the plan.
He told SeattlePi.com: "I do think 60 is a good time to get out. Who knows? When I'm 62, I'll direct a film if I want to."
