Earning power: Emma Watson is Hollywood hot property.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson, 19, is said to have made £20million in 2009. This puts her in Vanity Fair magazine’s top 40 movie earners.
The movie magazine said: “In Hollywood, then, as in most of the country, people just aren’t getting paid what they used to. But for a select group the money is still rolling in.
"Calculating their earning power is an inexact science, but we interviewed scores of people with access to actual numbers and deal terms: agents, lawyers, studio executives, and, occasionally, the stars themselves."
Emma came fourteenth overall - and is the youngest person, male or female, to appear – with a reported £10million for each of the final two parts of the Hogwarts films.
Her magical co-star Daniel Radcliffe was sixth overall with an income of £25.6million also from Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows I and II.
However the actress, who plays Harry's studious classmate, managed to edge ahead of their other red-haired co-star Rupert Grint, who was 15th.
The list was topped by director Michael Bay with £80million who made the Transformers films.
