You’ve heard her sing I Dreamed a Dream but now, it’s your chance to listen to Britain’s Got Talent star, Susan Boyle sing Cry Me A River and watch our moving montage of the Blackburn belter!
She made the recording back in 1999, when she sang Arthur Hamilton's Cry Me A River for a charity CD.
Only 1000 copies of the disc were ever produced, but you can listen to the track here and enjoy the beauty of such a rare talent.
Susan has become an overnight success story, a global phenomenon. She has had the media coverage and fan support many celebs could only dream of in their lifetime.
Having only heard her sing I Dreamed a Dream till now, some were becoming skeptical as to whether she was one singer, one song’ but this CD puts pay to that.
Susan recorded her track for the charity compilation CD at Whitburn Academy, where X Factor winner Leon Jackson went to school.
The Millennium Celebration disc, partly funded by Whitburn Community Council, was produced after local newspaper editor Eddie Anderson, dreamt up the idea.
He launched a search for unsigned acts to take part and of course, as soon as he heard Susan, he knew she had to feature on the disc.
This is a truly beautiful performance and hopefully, sometime in the near future, we will get to see Scotland’s newest star perform it live.
But until then, get out the tissues and enjoy this video and the beauty of Susan’s angelic voice.
