Dancing on Ice champion Ray Quinn has said that he can't wait to get his skates back on to compete in the national live tour of the hit show.
Speaking at the launch of a new aquarium Sharkbait Reef at the Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire, he said that he was "incredibly proud" of his achievements on the skating show.
He said: "Winning Dancing on Ice was just absolutely incredible.
"I thought that I would have a bit of an advantage, being able to dance. No way, I was well surprised, it's completely different with blades on.
"I had literally retrain myself, all that training that I had done since I was three years old had to go out the window."
He added: "Every competitor has gone from just walking on the ice like a penguin to skating like an absolute legend."
Ray confirmed reports that the Dancing on Ice finalists were given special diamante encrusted underwear by the production crew.
He admitted: "Every year the finalists get either a diamond jockstrap or a bra....I kept it a souvenir but (Donal) actually wore his!"
