Just a day after teasing fans with a few short scenes from the final film in the blockbuster Twilight saga, which stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, Summit Entertainment has released the film's first full trailer.
The focus is on the climactic showdown between the Cullen family and the Volutri, the first family of vampires from Italy.
A red-eyed Bella Swan (played by Stewart) is now very much a vampire – as is shown by some spectacular-looking action shots.
The trailer also shows very brief glimpses of Edward and Bella's child, Renesmee, but no full body shot of 11-year-old actress Mackenzie Foy, who plays the part.
Meanwhile Michael Sheen, as Volutri leader Aro, gets a lot of screen time as he plots to destroy the Cullens for violating vampire law and creating a human-vampire hybrid.
Part 1 of Breaking Dawn came out in November 2011, leaving Twilight fans with a year-long wait until this final film in the franchise.
This Summit Entertainment had also denied reports that they were looking to try and develop any more movies – or that there’s any immediate plans for a reboot in the works.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 opens in the US and UK on November 16.
