Cheryl Cole has been propositioned by TOWIE star Kirk Norcross, who has ‘begged’ the stunning pop star for date - using a social networking site.
Rather than opting for the more traditional method of picking up the phone, or even sending the 28-year-old a text, Kirk decided to go more public than that, and send the Call My Name singer a message for all to see on Twitter.
The TOWIE star decided to launch his charm offensive on Saturday, posting a message to Chezza that said: “@CherylCole how bout u let me take you out on a date a show you how #Essex does it? ;-) hahaha! Go ooon u no u wanna #Begging looool [sic].”
Unfortunately for poor Kirk, Cheryl appears to have refrained from replying as yet. With a truly romantic offer like that, Kirk, we’re sure Cheryl will surely be hard pushed to say no…
Finding a lovely lady is clearly top of nightclub promoter Kirk’s agenda, but it looks like the 24-year-old isn’t having much luck, as the day before his message to Cheryl he wrote on Twitter: “If twitter had a relationship status option mine would say, 'Erm....I aint got a f******* clue' ;-) lol [sic].”
It’s not the first time a cheeky chappie has tried to ask Cheryl out for a date via Twitter. Back in March, Xtra Factor host and singer Olly Murs also chanced his luck when he tried to woo Miss Cole on the social networking site.
After exchanging some flirty banter with Chezza on Twitter, Olly bit the bullet and wrote: “Haha sod it @CherylCole I'll ask for your number then #cantblameaguyfortrying #worthashot lol haha x [sic].” It didn't work that time either.
