It has been a long time coming, but Cheryl Cole has finally announced the release of her third album and comeback single, much to the delight of her fans.

A Million Lights will be available on June 18 and the first single, Call My Name, will be released on June 10.

The track will be played this Friday (April 20) across UK radio from 8.10am.

Cheryl Tweeted: “Soooo EXCITED for you to hear #CallMyName on the radio this Friday”

Scottish musician Calvin Harris wrote and produced Call My Name.

A host of top names in the music industry have also worked on the album, including Alex Da Kid, Lana Del Rey, Jim Beanz and Cheryl’s manager and BFF Will.i.am.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the Black Eyed Peas star said: “I can't give too much away but Cheryl's album is going to be big. Like Michael Jackson she is a complete perfectionist. Unless she is 100% happy with something she just won’t put it out there.

"She has got some of the biggest artists and producers in the industry to work with her, not just because she is talented but because everybody who meets her loves her."

He added: "She is one of the most likeable people in the industry and to be genuine is as important as talent."
