The excited crowd of shoppers were amazed. We were stunned. The poor boy whose expensive Christmas presenter was trapped in a bright yellow rubber balloon was slightly terrified.
That’ll teach him to hand over his phone to strangers!
26-year-old Ryan is a rising star in the magic world, following on from the likes of Dynamo and David Blaine, who have resparked an interest in the skilled art.
The Castlemilk lad may be a fan of the magic masters, but it was actually a chance meeting with a hustler, while on holiday in Greece, that ignited his own interest in magic.
When Ryan returned from soaking up the sun, his research into modern con artists and card cheats inevitably crossed over into the art of magic and he has been a serious student of the art ever since.
Mastering his art through a host of corporate events, weddings and parties, the buzz surrounding Ryan recently lead to a four night show at Glasgow’s Buff club, which sold out within hours of tickets being released.
Due to demand, further dates were added and they too have gone like hot cakes.
