Caroline Flack has once again taken to Twitter to respond to reports she has been getting close to a new man.
Yesterday, the Daily Mail published a picture of the 32 year old apparently having a peck on the lips with musician Sam McCarthy outside the Crown & Goose Pub in Camden Town London.
Although not a full-on snog, many wondered whether Caroline was embarking on a new relationship following her split from One Direction star Harry Styles last month. But she is single, so this wouldn’t be a crime.
Sam was believed to be in his twenties but the pair have since been keen to clear up any confusion, insisting they are just friends and that Sam is actually in his thirties.
Clearly having a laugh at the situation, Caroline Tweeted: “@SamMcCarthy1981 I'm sure I remember going to your 30th last year....”
Sam responded: “@carolineflack1 me too! It was great! Ps I'm not from new Zealand :)”
A spokesperson for stunning Caroline has since told the Daily Mail that the couple are definitely just friends and that Sam actually dates Caroline’s best friend, who was also at the pub.
Sam previously Tweeted: “@carolineflack1 is the best friend I have. We are gonna sing a duet at the lock tavern on weds!”
It’s not the first time Caroline has used Twitter to clear up speculation about her relationship status.
After the National Television Awards, reports suggested she had swapped number with TOWIE star Joey Essex.
She wrote: “I didn't even see Joey Essex at the NTAs. So there is no story. I know my situation has made me an easy target but no more please.”
