A supermarket chain is selling a Valentine's Day card for just 7p.

Asda is hoping to appeal to its budget-seekers by selling a range of 14 cost-cutting cards at just 7p apiece, meaning people could purchase one of each to send to prospective lovers and still have change from £1.

A message in the cards - which feature the store's "Smart Price" logo - reads: "My love for you is priceless."

The cards, which even come with a red envelope, have become a hit on a number of internet forums, with one user commenting: "I'll definitely be getting all 14 and hedging my bets that one of them will come up trumps."
