It’s just days into the new year, but already 2012 looks set to be much better for Cheryl Cole than 2011.
The 28-year-old beauty is reportedly all set to sign on the dotted line to front her very own talk show, which has been provisionally titled Late Night with Cheryl.
Featuring big-name guests, the programme would see singer, talent show judge and aspiring actor Cheryl move into presenting, adding yet another string to her bow.
According to Star magazine, TV bosses are desperate to sign the Geordie star up, as they think she could be a huge hit with audiences.
A source told the mag: “They know she’ll be a massive ratings winner and is the perfect fit to pull in amazing guests.”
However, as Cheryl has many other rumoured projects in the pipeline – including music collaborations and more movie roles, following on from her cameo in What to Expect When You’re Expecting last year – Miss Cole is probably in no major hurry to sign her time away just yet.
The source continued: “There have been a few film roles and scripts sent to her from Hollywood that are being considered.
“She’s being hankered after to work on new music with US acts like Nicki Minaj, thanks to their mutual friend (and manager) will.i.am.
”But Cheryl’s main concern in 2012 are her family, solo work and the reunion with Girls Aloud – will.i.am has tons of ideas for them.”
Looks like after her shock axe from X Factor USA last year, plus a rumoured failed reunion with ex-husband Ashley, Cheryl is determined to turn things around professionally and personally in 2012.
