One Direction lads gush about X Factor winners Little Mix

Little Mix made X Factor history on Sunday night, as they became the first group ever to win the show.

The lovely ladies have been inundated with congratulatory Tweets, with one boyband in particular keen to show Perrie, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne the love… you guessed it - One Direction.

Louis Tomlinson Tweeted: “Over the moon for @LittleMixOffic!”

Harry Styles (don’t get jealous Caroline Flack) said: “Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!” We’re presuming this was a good woo!

The curly-haired heartthrob also had some wise words for the new winners, following the moment he was caught on camera whispering something naughty to Matt Cardle during last year's X Factor final.

“I advise them not to whisper to each other until they're off stage.” Good advice.

Niall Horan was quick to praise Little Mix, indicating he has a crush on stunning singer Jade Thirwall.

He Tweeted: “Yes yes yes yes! Yeeeeaaaahhhhhh buddddiiiie! Congrats little mix, doin it for the groups, love them, jades a little cutie.”

Zayn Malik, rumoured to be dating Perrie, simply said: “Yes people yes ! :)”

The former X Factor boyband performed on Saturday night’s Final show one, with JLS, much to the delight of the screaming crowd.

Backstage they spoke fondly of the ‘Little Muffins’, with Louis saying: “We can kind of relate to them cause they were put together like us and they’ve got a nice style about them, they’re not try hard.”
