Kate Middleton has secured her status as a fashion icon, but the Duchess of Cambridge is understandably keen to make a good impression on her upcoming trip to the US and Canada.
This will be Kate’s first engagement with Prince William as an official member of the royal family, and she’s said to have been working carefully on what items will make up her wardrobe, with the help of personal shoppers.
Style advisors from upmarket stores Selfridges and Harvey Nichols have reportedly been advising the brunette beauty, 29, on her wardrobe for the trip, Grazia reports.
And designer Sarah Burton of the Alexander McQueen – who created Kate’s stunning lace wedding dress – is also said to be giving advice, after the future Queen was spotted leaving her head offices in London last week.
Kate hasn’t put a foot wrong in the style stakes so far. She was photographed at Wimbledon yesterday, enjoying the game between Andy Murray and Richard Gasquet, wearing a very summery white tiered, scalloped cream Temperley's Moriah dress.
The designer dress got the thumbs-up from fashionistas; but Kate is also a big fan of high street stores including Zara and Reiss, with outfits she’s sported from the shops in the past selling out in hours.

But this trip is no doubt extremely important to both Kate and Prince William, and the duchess will want to make sure she’s got an outfit for every possible occasion – including Canada Day celebrations, the Montreal Jazz Festival and a glamorous black-tie reception which the royal couple will be attending.
Meanwhile Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has called Kate and her little sister Pippa’s style “incredible”.
