Bride-to-be Kate Middleton is so impressed with Victoria Beckham’s dress designs that she’s asked her to come up with some outfits for the royal honeymoon, according to sources.

Brunette beauty Kate, 29, and the former Spice Girls singer are thought to have become close friends after Prince William and Vic’s husband David met during their bid for England to host the World Cup in 2018.

The showbiz couple have been invited to attend the royal couple’s nuptials on April 29, and have admitted they are “really excited”. Now Victoria is said to be over-the-moon that Kate wants her to design some pretty dresses for her honeymoon with Wills.

A source is quoted in OK! magazine saying: "Victoria is a real girls’ girl and she thinks Kate is lovely.

"She admires Kate’s natural sense of style and would be proud to gift her several of her hand-designed dresses for her honeymoon.”

Few concrete details about the wedding have been revealed, but so far royal sources have confirmed that the couple will marry at 11am at Westminster Abbey. Kate will travel to the ceremony by car, in the same Rolls-Royce limousine that was carrying Prince Charles and Camilla when it was that was attacked and damaged by student protestors last year.

After marrying, Kate and William will leave the Abbey in an open-topped horse-drawn carriage, which will take them to Buckingham Palace, where friends and family of the pair will gather for a private reception, hosted by the Queen.

A private dinner, "followed by dancing in the evening, for close friends and family" will then take place later on.

William's brother Prince Harry will be best man while Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, will take on the role of maid of honour.

The dress designer is yet to be confirmed, but is rumoured to be Sarah Burton, who took over Alexander McQueen’s fashion house after the designer’s death.
